Annie Lennox, (born 25 December 1954), born Ann Lennox, is a Scottish singer-songwriter, political activist and philanthropist. After achieving moderate success in the late 1970s as part of the new wave band The Tourists, she and fellow musician Dave Stewart went on to achieve major international success in the 1980s as Eurythmics. Lennox is the most recognised female artist at the Brit Awards, winning a total of eight awards, including Best British Female Artist six times. It was a commercial flop, despite being one of the more accessible and poppy songs on the album. "Dark Road" is a song by Annie Lennox, released on 24 September 2007, as the first single from her fourth solo album Songs of Mass Destruction. His approach is influenced by bebop and fusion jazz, but also modern pop music, movie soundtracks, country music and even German pop songs. "When Tomorrow Comes" is a song recorded by British pop music duo Eurythmics.
